Sign up for one (or all) of our listed winter climbing courses; designed to get you prepared for the outdoor climbing season!

Winter Climbing Course Schedule:

1/24 & 2/28: Intro to lead climbing & use of anchor chains outside. This class will get you ready for climbing at Thacher Park!

1/31 & 2/14: General climbing skills and improvements. An excellent beginner’s course to immediately improve your climbing and confidence!

2/7 & 3/7: Intro to top rope anchor building & use of chains in outdoor lead climbing. 

2/21: Intro to rope ascending, rappelling and aid climbing. These are skills needed in caving, technical tree climbing and big wall climbing.

3/14: Intro to advanced rescue techniques and belay escape. *Participants should be knowledgeable in lead climbing, anchor building, ascending and rappelling.*

Classes offered for teens-adults. Some basic climbing experience is required for some of the classes. Classes will be held every Tuesday evening from 6pm-*9pm. Cost is $45/class.
