We’re located just off Central Avenue in Vatrano Park in Albany, NY.

We understand that climbers come in all shapes and sizes and equally develop at various ages. While we want to be as welcoming as possible young climbers, we have a set age policy in that anyone under the age of 10 years old MUST be paired with a parent/adult in a 1:1 ratio at all times while onsite and in order to participate in our activities. This is to ensure the safety of our young guests as well as other climbers in the building. That being said, we are not equipped to gear up kids under the age of 4 yrs old.

Adults present to adhere to our age policy will be playing an active role! They will get issued a harness, go through our brief safety orientation and be on the climbing floor learning how to work (and have fun!) with their young climber. Adults on the climbing floor working as the role of the “belayer” are not charged full admission, just our small harness rental fee ($2.25). *** If their child is under the age of 9 yrs old and wishes to explore our indoor caving system, an adult will need to accompany them through the system and would then become a full-paying participant. ***. Our caving system is not designed for children under the age of 6 years old.
